This is November and the winters have start to set in.
During winters our skin tends to get dry due to loss of moisture and we use
cold cream etc which are oil based. These creams give our face a very oily look
and these are sticky and due to pollution in the air, the dirt starts to stick
on our faces and give it a very tired look. During winters, as there are many
ways to keep your body covered, it is usually our face that are exposed to open
air and so naturally our faces are the worst hit part of our body during
winters.
The dirt on the face gives rise to many problems such as
acne and blemishes, which enhance when we apply oily creams on our faces. If we
do not use creams then our faces lose their natural moisture and the skin starts to
crack-up.
Today, i am going to share the recipe for Moisturizing face
scrub with you all. This recipe will not only help you to remove all the dirt
from the skin pores but will also moisturize you skin naturally, giving a glow
on your face.
To make this Face Scrub you need:
1 tbsp Oatmeal: oatmeal is a natural absorbent. it deep cleanses the pores and hence removes
excessive sebum or facial oil from your skin. It gently exfoliates and
nourishes the oily skin.
1 tsp Honey: Honey is rich in anti bacterial properties,
which kills the acne germs. And Honey is also an amazing source of moisturizer
for oily skin.
1 tsp Yogurt/Curd: Yogurt has Lactic Acid which fights
against blemishes, cleans our pores deeply, removes excess Sebum or facial oil
leaving our skin still a bit moisturized.
Method:
Mix all there Ingredients together and make a fine paste and
now just apply this on your face and let it sit for 5 minutes and after that
just gently scrub your face and now wash it with a normal water.
